a lifelong musician and prolific writer, eliza stumbled into her first jazz gig in 2023 as an amateur self-taught piano singer with very little experience and a newfound knack for singing in French.  Since then she has developed an extensive solo repertoire in La chanson française, Yé-yé, and le jazz manouche along with a fresh and distinctive approach to standards from the Great American Songbook, and she frequently performs throughout Houston in the some of the city's finest establishments.  However, eliza's first love is and always will be funk, and nowhere is this more evident than in her songwriting.  Her debut album, coming in 2026, contains hard-driving bops, gritty keys, tight harmonies, and relentless grooves; her acerbic lyrics reflect the untamed inner world of an intense and private thinker navigating the modern age as a feral woman and mother.
